Established in 2009, the Georgina Weston Dance Academy offers classes in multiple dance styles for students of all ages, from Pre-School to Advanced, Vocational level training. Led by our Principal Georgina Weston, we have a strong team of caring teachers, who are highly skilled, motivated and most of all passionate about their work, ensuring we deliver the highest standard of dance teaching.
In recent years, the Georgina Weston Dance Academy has built on the success of the Orpington school and now includes multiple branches across London, including Chiswick (est.2011), Bromley High School (est.2015) and Surbiton (est.2020). We also offer after school classes at several local Primary schools, including Breaside Preparatory and Tubbenden Primary.
We have a growing alumni of graduates from the GWDA. In recent years students have continued to develop their passion for dance, some performing annually with the English Youth Ballet as well as other establishments and companies:

We pride ourselves on the caring, friendly nature that the school offers whilst still maintaining high Royal Academy of Dance exam results. The training you will receive from us will be delivered in a caring, approachable manner with a balanced teacher / student relationship. We aspire to get the best out of each and every one of our students treating their individual needs and developing them accordingly.
Our dance shows are a chance for our students of all ages and disciplines to come together and perform on a theatre stage, creating a fantastic opportunity for the dancers to put their hard work, training and technique into the performing environment.

All of our staff are fully insured, as well as being DBS checked and first aid trained. Our teachers take regular CPD courses to keep up to date with developments and progressions within the dance world and overall, as professionals looking after the needs of children. Growing up through the RAD grades at the Linda Mortimore School of Dance in Devon, Georgina discovered her love and desire for Classical ballet and expanded her dance genres to also study Tap, Modern and Jazz.

Georgia discovered her love of dance at a very early age joining the local ballet school at the age of 3 years old, it wasn’t long before she wished to expanded her knowledge into the other elements of Dance. She studied ISTD Tap, Modern, Ballet and all aspects of Musical Theatre at the Italia Conti Associates

Elena grew up in Cyprus and discovered her passion for dance when taking her first ballet class at the age of 5. Growing up she participated in a number of performances and dance seminars where she was trained in different dance styles.

Attending her very first ballet class at the age of 4 and instantly falling in love with everything dance related, Jo knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in dance. Training at Harlequin Stage School in her hometown of Worcester, Jo had a well-rounded training in many dance genres including RAD ballet, ISTD tap and modern, contemporary and musical theatre
