About Vocational Training
Vocational Graded ballet classes offer another branch to the RAD examinations. These advanced level classes offer a more in-depth study of classical ballet in a more technical manner, and include the training and examination of Pointe Work.
Through invite only, students can move from Graded examinations to Vocational examinations at an appropriate time, or they can study both pathways simultaneously. These levels are for students that show additional potential & commitment, and those aiming towards a vocational career in dance.
Course Details
These courses will usually take 2+ years due to the higher technical demand. At this level, we expect students to be doing a minimum of 2 classes per week at Intermediate Foundation, as well as their graded classes. A minimum of 3 classes per week for Intermediate & above are needed to acquire the correct stamina, strength and overall physical training necessary at this level.
